As National Sales Director, you’ll lead Arktura’s sales strategy and performance across the United States and Canada. Reporting to the General Manager, Arktura, you’ll drive profitable growth, lead the East, West, and Central Regional Sales Managers, and strengthen alignment between Sales and Marketing to advance the company’s business objectives and growth strategy.

What You’ll Do
- Own national sales performance, including revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, growth, and project profitability.
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy that converts market opportunities into profitable, sustainable growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop three Regional Sales Managers supporting the East, West, and Central regions.
- Build and manage a high-performing network of independent sales representatives through effective selection, onboarding, training, goal setting, and performance management.
- Establish clear sales targets, performance measures, and expectations while addressing performance gaps quickly and effectively.
- Expand existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Monitor customer needs, competitive activity, and industry trends to strengthen market positioning and accelerate growth.
- Align Sales and Marketing priorities to support the company’s broader business objectives.
- Lead Arktura’s participation in priority trade shows and conferences, including objective setting, lead follow-up, and measurement of commercial impact and return on investment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including responsibility for leading sales organizations, developing sales strategy, and driving sustained business growth.
- 5+ years of sales experience within the architecture & design (A&D), construction, or specified products industry.
- Experience building new business and expanding existing customer relationships through a representative-based sales model.
- Demonstrated experience developing teams and sales organizations that align with and support business strategy.
- Proven ability to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, relationship-building, and change leadership capabilities.

- Sales leadership experience within the architecture and design industry.
- Experience leading a geographically dispersed sales organization across multiple regions or countries.
- A track record of building and optimizing independent sales representative networks.

- Demonstrated success using sales metrics, market insights, and performance data to identify opportunities and improve results.
